What caused my leverage to be adjusted automatically?
Leverage may be adjusted automatically due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. Account risk management – To protect your account from excessive risk exposure, leverage may be adjusted based on your trading activity or account equity.
2. Regulatory requirements – Certain jurisdictions or account types have leverage limits set by regulatory authorities.
3. Product or market conditions – Leverage may vary depending on the instrument traded (e.g., forex, commodities, indices) and current market volatility.
4. Account type or status – Different account types have different leverage settings; if your account status changes, leverage may be updated accordingly.
If you wish to change your leverage, you can typically do so through the Client Portal - Account sections. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team.
