Why was my Proof of Address (POA) rejected?
The proof of address (POA) document must display:
- The full name must match exactly with the name on the proof of identity document
- The residential address must be clearly shown (PO Box if the address is in full can be accepted).
- The issue date must be within the last 6 months.
- All four edges of the document must be visible.
- The document must be high-quality, clear, and legible.
- The document should be displayed in multi-colour.
Acceptable proof of address documents include:
- Bank statement
- Utility bill (gas, electricity, water, phone, internet)
- Government-issued tax document
- Certificate of citizenship
If you’re unable to provide any of the documents listed above. You may submit a secondary photo ID that includes your residential address (e.g. driver’s license or national ID), provided it is valid and has not already been used as your proof of identity. This submission is subject to approval.
