Is free margin required to lock positions in my trading account?
You can lock positions (hedging) by opening an opposite trade to your existing position (e.g., buying and selling the same product), even if you don’t have enough free margin. However, this will offset the margin of your existing position.
Make sure you understand the risks of hedging without sufficient free margin, as it may limit your ability to open new trades or maintain your current ones.
